Dysport/Botox/Daxxify can be used to prevent the lip from curling under when smiling. This is not the same as lip filler.
Frequency of treatment: Every 3-4 months
Price: $12 per unit, with an average dose of 4 - 8 units.

Masseter muscles are injected to relieve tension from jaw clenching and teeth grinding. This also causes slimming of the lower face. Dose is 30-50 units (provider will determine dose based on muscle anatomy and strength).
Frequency of treatment: Initially, every 3-4 months is recommended, then every 6 months for best results.

Beck offers tox treatments for hyperhydrosis, or excessive sweating. FDA recommended dose of 100 units is utilized for bilateral underarms.
Palms of hands and soles of feet can also be treated.

The Beck Plan
Tox treatments involve injecting neurotoxin just below the skin with very small needles (the needles are the size of just 3 pieces of hair!).
Temporary injection site redness and swelling can occur but usually dissipate within 15 minutes.
Results are noticeable within 3-4 days and full onset occurs at 2 weeks.
For optimal results, it is recommended that you schedule routine treatments.

Botox, Dysport, and Daxxify are all purified proteins that effectively prevent muscle contraction, although each has a slightly different chemical structure.
Botox, Dysport, and Daxxify accomplish the same goal, so it is a matter of personal preference. Daxxify has been shown to last longer (4-5 months vs. 3-4 months with Botox and Dysport) in some patients.
Your Beck provider will determine the best medication for you during your consultation.

Tox treatments require minimal downtime, so you can return to your daily routine immediately after you leave the Beck office.

You should see visible results within 3-4 days after your tox treatment, with full results seen at two weeks. It is normal to see movement slowly starting to come back after around 2 months, and fully back at 3 - 4 months, but it varies from person to person.
If you are underdosed, or get a “light” treatment, your movement will return much more quickly (Dose = Duration).
For optimal results, it is recommended that you schedule routine treatments.

We recommend planning tox treatments at least 2 weeks prior to an event, however we suggest 1 month prior for best results.

Reassess the treated areas at the 2-week mark. If you have remaining or asymmetrical movement please call the office to schedule a follow-up visit. We will adjust your dose for next time to ensure your results are perfect!
